This Post covers step-by-step instructions to create the Oracle Integration Cloud Instance to practice integrations as mentioned in our Step-by-Step Hands-On Guides that you must perform.
- Check out our previous blog if you are new to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), as it contains all the key points that a beginner should know about Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Before proceeding further, Make sure you have registered for Oracle Cloud Trial Account and if not then follow our step-by-step guide to create FREE Oracle Cloud Trial Account.
Key Points to Know before Creating OIC Instance:
1) There is only one way to create the OIC Instance:
- Custom Instance (Preferred): In this, you have options to select features and the number of message packs.
2) In this type of Oracle Integration Instance, Oracle will manage instance, performance, backup, patching, upgrade, etc.
3) This type of Oracle Integration Instance is created on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). To know more about components of OCI, click here
In Custom Install it looks like this:

Steps to Create the Oracle Integration Cloud Instance:
Provision/configure Oracle Integration using Custom Options:
1) Open the navigation menu. Under Developer Services, go to Application Integration and click Integration.
Also, Check New Homepage Of Oracle Integration Cloud.
2) After that click on Create Integration Instance.
3) Specify the details it prompts for and Confirm your selections, then click Create at last.
4. Wait for the provisioning to complete. Once the provisioning completed, you can click on the created instance to view the details.
This is all in nutshell about creating an Oracle Integration Cloud instance.
We cover this in the Provisioning Instance module of our Oracle Integration Cloud Services Training (To register for FREE Masterclass, click here) where we also cover integration options in detail.

Hello Team,
Can you please post article on provisioning Identity cloud services instance in cloud ?
Thanks,

Surbhi Sharma says
Hi Bheemesh,
You don’t need to provision IDCS, you just need to do login to your IDCS console to manage your users, groups, application, etc
Please check below blogs that can help you to understand the concepts:

I am looking for oic exams dump, please let me know if you provide the same.
Thanks
Sumit Singh says
Hi Abhishek,
As per Oracle’s Exam Policy, you should avoid exam dumps and if you practice well and do all the hands-on then you should be able to clear the certification exam.
In our comprehensive training program ( https://k21academy.com/oic03 ) we cover a lot of Step-By-Step hands-on guide ( https://k21academy.com/oic05 ) , at the end of each module, we also have quizzes so you can understand the concepts well.
We have an excellent track record for certification and attendees getting results ( https://k21academy.com/testimonials ) . Once you do all this then clearing the certification 1Z0-1042 will be easy.
I hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi
first time I am using oic I have created oic instance I have one scenario
a)Make a calculator.(Addition/Subtraction/ Multiplication/Division)
b)It accepts two number and provides result based on this
can any one help on this scenario
Harshit Yadav says
Hi Peddiraju,
OIC is for Integrating different systems so that data can flow seamlessly between them.
There is no use for creating a calculator as there is already math function available in mapping.
Also if you create a calculator in VBCS there is nothing you will be able to achieve with that.
Instead, create integration and try to math on two values in DB as in real word you will need that knowledge.
