Note: In Oracle Pay as you go account make sure you delete all the resources after use which you have created so you won’t get charged unexpectedly as in Pay as you go you need to pay for the resources for the number of resources and how much time you use them. Once your 30 days or free Credits are over you will get the option to upgrade to a paid account.
Steps to upgrade your Oracle free tier account to Pay As You Go(PAYG)
1. Login to your Oracle Free tier Account.
2. Once logged in go to the top left Hamburger option => Billing & Cost Management => Upgrade and Manage Payment.
3. Here you will be redirected to a page on your Oracle cloud account to upgrade to pay as you go.
4.On the “Upgrade” page you scroll down down to the bottom and will see the option to “Upgrade to Pay as you go” or “Request A Sales call”. You can follow any of the steps to upgrade the account to pay as you go. For “Request A Sales call” we have covered this in 10.1 point of this guide.
5. Now we will be directly upgrading our account then we will go with the first option of Pay as you go.
6. Here as you are a individual and requesting to upgrade for yourself then choose “Individual” option and accept to the “Terms and Conditions” then click on “Upgrade your Account”.
7. Once you click on Upgrade your Account it will ask for the confirmation, Make sure to read the details carefully.
8. It will ask you to check your Credit Card details if they are not updated and if they are then you will see the below confirmation.
Note: It will take few days for Oracle to upgrade your Free Tier account once Upgraded you will get the Confirmation mail for the same.
