Six months from now

You already run projects. Soon you'll run the one everyone is nervous about.

Picture the kickoff for your company's next AI initiative. The data team has a model. A vendor has a demo. Leadership has a date. Somebody has to own it.

You walk in knowing how to turn that into a plan. You can say what a proof of concept has to prove. You know which risks are real and which are noise. When the pilot slips, you explain why in plain language and show the executives what you're doing about it.

You didn't have to become an engineer to get there. You learned what a project manager owns on an AI project, then you did it a few times where it was safe to get it wrong.

Where most PMs are today

If the hard questions in the meeting are starting to land on you...

How do we know the model is good enough to ship? Who signs off on the training data? What happens when it starts getting things wrong in production? What's our answer on governance?

You've sat in that room. You nodded, wrote it down, and looked it up afterward.

Your sprint now contains experiments that might fail. Your timeline depends on data nobody has cleaned. Your vendor quote has a line item you can't price. The playbook that carried you through ten years of projects still covers most of it. For the rest, nobody handed you a new one.

What employers actually ask for

Another certificate won't answer those questions.

You may already be collecting them: PMP, Scrum, a cloud badge. They count. They don't tell a hiring manager whether you can run an AI project.

39%of sampled AI program manager postings asked for risk management
37%asked for stakeholder management
20%asked for any certification at all

Source: Axial Search, 468 US AI program manager postings, Nov 2024 to Jan 2025. The sample skews toward AI-focused, higher-paying employers.

That's the gap: hiring managers can't yet see that you've done this work.

Free tutorials teach you the vocabulary. They don't hand you a risk register for an AI system and tell you where it's weak. So we built this program proof first, exam second.

Project management employment in the US is projected to grow 7% from 2025 to 2035, with about 76,500 openings a year (US Bureau of Labor Statistics). The jobs aren't disappearing. They're changing.

The 7-week program

Three things to show. One exam to sit. A resume ready to send.

Built for project managers, program managers, scrum masters, delivery leads, PMO staff, business analysts and technical leads who've been asked to run AI work. You don't need a cloud, AI or coding background.

Proof you can show

Three portfolio projects

Each one is delivered the way the job works, phase by phase, with the artifacts a hiring manager asks to see.

  • A multi-agent car insurance assistant: scope the use case, define the agent roles, manage the build
  • A full AI project simulation with a risk register, issue log, monitoring dashboard, stakeholder updates and a recorded walkthrough video
  • A project plan for an AI resume screening system, taken through all eight phases from pre-project to post-deployment
An exam you can sit

The CPMAI path, mapped out

Preparation for the PMI-CPMAI exam, laid out week by week so it fits around a full-time job.

  • Roadmap mapped to the six CPMAI phases
  • Domain-wise exam prep and a key-concepts glossary
  • Question bank with worked answers
  • 4 full-length mock tests
  • Week-by-week study plan
Ready for the interview

Job prep, built in

So the work you did turns into something you can say out loud.

  • Resume prep for AI-delivery roles
  • LinkedIn profile prep
  • Interview prep: questions and answers for AI project management roles
  • Multiple group mock interviews
  • Slide decks for every module, yours to keep

The PMI-CPMAI exam fee is paid directly to PMI and isn't included in the program price.

Built by someone who figured it out the hard way first.

K21 Academy was founded in 2017 by Atul Kumar. He started as a mechanical engineer, moved into IT, and joined Oracle as a contractor in the early 2000s.

He relocated from India to the UK, worked at Imperial College London, and was contracting at £425 a day by 2005. In 2012 he started a consulting company. When it was time to hire, he built a way to upskill people himself.

First for himself. Then for his own team. Then for everyone else. K21 has now trained 46,000+ professionals across cloud and AI.

K21 Academy: The Real Deal for Tech Leaders Transitioning into AI/ML and Cloud

As a VP of Software Engineering making a deliberate career transition into AI/ML and Cloud leadership, I've been extremely selective about where I invest my time and money. Enrolling at K21 Academy has been one of the best professional decisions I've made this year. Since joining, I've completed four courses and successfully passed three Microsoft certification exams: AI-900, AZ-900 and AB-731. What sets K21 apart is the depth of knowledge their trainers bring. The hands-on projects on both Azure and AWS gave me practical experience that actually shows up on a resume and in interviews.

K21 Academy gave me clarity and confidence in my AI journey

I joined K21 Academy at a time when I felt stuck and unsure about my career direction. Connecting with Shahid was a turning point. He gave me clarity, practical guidance, and renewed confidence. One of K21 Academy's biggest strengths is its curriculum. The content is exhaustive and serves as a one-stop shop. I enrolled across multiple cloud platforms, and despite the significant time commitment, I haven't regretted it for a single moment.

The K21 experience gave me direction

I recently joined a track course at K21 Academy and it has been a really helpful experience. When I first started learning AI and AWS, I was quite confused about where to begin and what direction to take. The structured curriculum, supportive mentors, and proper guidance have given me a lot of clarity. I also had a very positive experience working with Supriya. She took the time to truly listen to my concerns and challenges, and I really appreciated her patience and attention to detail.

From a non-technical background to a confident AI learner

I decided to explore AI as part of a career change, but coming from a non-technical background made me hesitant to enroll in any course. With the encouragement and support of my husband, I joined K21 Academy run by Atul Kumar and I'm really glad I did. The course is well-structured, catering to both beginners and advanced learners. What stands out the most is the thoughtful design of the program and the strong support system provided by the team. The emphasis on hands-on experience truly enhances the learning process.

Before you enroll

The questions you're asking yourself right now.

That's a fair worry, especially if you've paid for a course that gave you a certificate and nothing else. So for six months the risk sits with us. Attend at least 80% of the live sessions or watch the recordings, finish the projects, labs and mock tests, and complete your resume and LinkedIn prep and the group mock interviews. If it still wasn't worth it, ask for a refund within six months of the start date and you get the program fee back. The full terms are in the guarantee above.
It's the right question to ask. Live class is 6 hours a week, over three evenings (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), plus a few hours of exercises and labs. Every session is recorded, so a bad week at work doesn't put you behind. The CPMAI study plan is built for people with full-time jobs, and the schedule has two breaks: Thanksgiving week and the late-December holidays. If you can find those hours, you can finish.
It's a common worry. You don't need to code. Module 3 gives you the AI and ML fluency a PM needs, and the Module 5 labs use no-code and low-code tools like ChatGPT and Zapier. The seven free foundation courses cover AI and cloud basics from zero, and you can bring questions about them to class. You'll arrive able to follow the room.
Probably yes. The program is built for project managers, program managers, scrum masters, delivery leads, PMO staff, business analysts and technical leads who are being asked to run AI work. If your job involves planning, risk and stakeholders on delivery, the three projects apply to you. If your job is writing the models, it's the wrong program.
No, and it's better to hear that now. PMI awards the certification after you pass its exam, and you pay the exam fee to PMI directly. What you get from us is the path: a roadmap mapped to the six CPMAI phases, domain-wise prep, a question bank with worked answers, a week-by-week study plan and four full mock tests. We can't promise a pass. We can make sure you've practiced the exam four times before you sit it.
Certificates alone haven't moved the needle for a lot of people, so the doubt makes sense. We don't promise a job or a salary. You leave with three projects you can walk an interviewer through, a rebuilt resume and LinkedIn profile, and group mock interviews behind you. Those exercise the skills that topped the job postings above: risk, stakeholders and communication. That's what the program is built to give you.
The seven free foundation courses open the same day, so you can start before the cohort does or work through them at your own pace. You'll get the schedule and class links before the first session. Your first live class is Tuesday, November 17 at 8:00 pm ET, and by Thursday's session you'll be building your first AI project charter. Enrollment closes Tuesday, November 10.
Is this you?

Who this is for, and who should skip it.

This is for you if

  • You manage projects, programs or delivery, and AI work is landing on your team.
  • You're a scrum master, PMO lead, business analyst or technical lead being asked to run AI delivery.
  • You want proof you can show, not just another badge.
  • You can give about 6 hours a week to live class, plus a few hours of exercises and labs.
  • You'd like to sit the PMI-CPMAI exam with a plan.

Skip it if

  • You want to build and train models yourself. This program is about managing AI delivery, not writing the code.
  • You're looking for AI product management. That's a different job and a different program.
  • You want a guaranteed job or exam pass. We don't promise either.
  • You can't make the Tuesday to Thursday evening times and don't plan to use recordings.

Be the one who can answer.

Starts Tuesday, November 17. Limited seats available. Money back within 6 months if you do the work and it wasn't worth it.
